Requirements & Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Canadian Passport, or a valid Canadian Permanent Resident card.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, post-secondary education is an asset.
• Bilingual in French, is considered an asset.
• Previous aviation experience is considered an asset.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Airport Identification Card (RAIC)
• A clear criminal background check and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Height must be 6’2” or less (including footwear with a 2-inch heel maximum);
• Must be able to reach 183 cm or 72 inches flat-footed without shoes (emergency equipment requirement).
• Must successfully complete a 4-week full-time initial training program, annual training and any other training necessary.
• Must be flexible to work any shift assigned including days, evenings, weekends, overnight and multi-day trips.
• Must be available for on-call shifts while holding Reserve.
• Must be able to adhere to Image and Style uniform standards.
• The ability to communicate with an advanced level of written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
• Provide consistent levels of superior customer service and satisfaction by anticipating customer
  needs and exceeding expectations in the provision of service.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Able to work to tight time constraints, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficient at working from memory.
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces for long periods of time.
• Proficient computer skills.
